Darkness Unveiled and Glory Illuminated: Three Orchestral Works by Stephen Whitehead are three orchestral works that tell stories of horror, war, and royalty. Performed by Bay Area Classical Harmonies, conducted by Andrew Chung. 

  1. Dracula: An Orchestral Thriller with narrator and full orchestra tells the famous chiller by Bram Stoker as a horror fest for the ears with orchestral themes and musical sound effects.  
  2. Three Laments on The Great War for Vocal Soloists and Chamber Orchestra is set to the poems of First World War soldier-poets: "Arms and the Boy" and "Anthem for Doomed Youth" by Wilfred Owen and "The Target" by Ivor Gurney. 
  3. Homage to Gloriana: An Elizabethan Tone Poem with Themes from English Renaissance for Harpsichord Solo, Recorder Solo, Orchestra and Chorus . A glorious homage to Queen Elizabeth I and English renaissance music of the 16th century including themes by William Byrd and poetry by Edmund Spenser.
